Emma graduated from Western University in 2014 with a Masters of Physical Therapy after completing a Bachelor of Physical & Health Education (concentration in Health Promotion) from Laurentian University.
Emma is qualified in the assessment and treatment of running injuries. She is listed as a running injuries specialist on www.therunningclinic.ca. Emma is trained in running gait analysis and giving recommendations on running technique. She has also completed courses in orthopaedics and manual therapy. She plans to continue to expand her skill set by pursuing post-graduate courses, including acupuncture and dry needling.
In her free time, Emma enjoys training and competing in track and field. She represented Team Ontario at the 2013 Canada Summer Games in the 800m and 4x400m. When she is not busy with her training she likes to go home to see her family and friends on Manitoulin Island.
